Our history

Habitation of Peace is one of the Parishes of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). RCCG was founded in 1952 in Lagos Nigeria and has grown to over 6,000 parishes around the world with over 3 million members. The General Overseer of the Church is Pastor Enoch A. Adeboye. The Church is making impact in all the continents of the World. In North America, there are over 300 parishes in US and Canada. On January 13 2008, Habitation of Peace Guelph was birthed prophetically from Isa 2:2-3 (KJV): “And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem” Therefore, Habitation of Peace is a teaching based ministry, where we set our congregation on a discovery path for total recovery, under an inclusive and warm atmosphere of worship and fellowship for people of the Kingdom.
